Volunteers' Week 2024

This week is Volunteer's Week which celebrates the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK. 

The celebration starts on the first Monday in June every year. It’s a chance to recognise, celebrate and thank the UK’s incredible volunteers for all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector, and society as a whole.

We are taking the opportunity to celebrate the work done by the volunteers who give their time across our services. We will be sharing stories of individuals on our social media: X (formerly twitter), and Facebook. We are also having a special event to say thank you to our volunteers on 6th June.
