Cambridge Road Update March 2023
Book Club
People we support at our Cambridge Road location have been holding their regular book club meetings. Everyone who attends has had a great time. Christina, who attends the group, kindly shared her thoughts about why she likes being part of the book club.
Easter Coffee Morning
Cambridge road held an Easter coffee morning for parents, carers, and the wider community. The coffee morning was well attended, all staff and people we support made cakes and made decorations for each table.
Upcoming Events
There will be an easter Bingo and egg hunt on Thursday 6th April at Cambridge Road centre. All the people we support will be participating and we have made eggs and table decorations.
We will also be celebrating the coronation of Charles III in May. We will be decorating the centre and getting the bunting out in preparation.
Stars of the Month
Shelly helped to make cakes for the coffee morning alongside three other people we support, and she worked so hard to ensure that the cakes where cooked and looked great. Shelly told us that she has learned how important it is to clean as you go to reduce any gems, and the importance of using the correct boards. She said that she would like to join the cookery group on the next intake.
